Margie Hamner

Name & Title:  Margaret "Margie" Hamner is Organizational Development Specialist for Prince William County Service Authority.

Job Description:  Ms Hamner is responsible for developing training and career development programs and developing initiatives to foster a culture of high performance, leadership and improvement through teamwork, continuous learning and innovations.

Other Accomplishments/Memberships: She has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources.  Prior to her current position, Mrs. Hamner worked at the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) where she was responsible for all aspects of recruiting, compensation analysis, employee relations, and labor relations.  While working at the Bureau of National Affairs (BNA), she managed the Work/Life Program, FMLA administration, and Ergonomics Program.  She also has extensive experience in instructional design and training.  Her efforts in these areas helped BNA become one of Fortune Magazine’s Top 100 Best Companies to Work.

Education: Ms. Hamner has a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from American University.

Laura Letts Name & Title:  Laura Letts, Manager of Staffing and Recruiting, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems

Sharon Bohlman

Current Responsibilities:  Sharon is the President of Strategic Benefits Solutions, a HR and Benefits consulting firm.

Experience:  Prior to starting Strategic Benefits Solutions, Sharon was Vice-President of Benefits, Retirement, Employee Services and Workers Compensation for Litton-PRC and TASC (Northrop Grumman). Sharon was responsible for both companies’ total benefits programs. Before specializing in Benefits, Sharon’s experience included 6 years in Human Resources as a generalist.

Sharon holds Broker’s, Consulting, Life, Health and Accident licenses.

Additionally, Sharon created the HR Consortium in 2000 and continues to lead this group of 80+ companies in the DC Metro area. She also serves on the WTPF and CARE Boards and is active with a number of affiliated organizations.

Education:  Sharon earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Magna cum Laude). She earned the designations of Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Senior Professional Human Resource Leader (SPHR), as well as certifications in(or from) International HR Programs, Darden Executive Leadership Program, Georgetown University Benefits Specialist, and Wharton School of Management.

Gary Cluff

Name & Title: Gary A. Cluff is the Manager, Corporate Recruiting for the MITRE Corporation in McLean, VA.

Job Description:  Prior to joining MITRE in 2001, Mr. Cluff served as a Special Assistant to the Director of the CIA where he introduced and implemented competitive recruitment strategies and more efficient recruitment practices.  For more than 30 years, as a consultant and as an employee, he has shared his recruiting expertise with government agencies, public corporations, and non-profit organizations, as well as thousands of individuals who have attended his popular recruiting forums and interviewing skills workshops.

Other Accomplishments/Memberships:  Mr. Cluff is the founder and facilitator of Project SAVE, a networking group of recruiting professionals in the Washington, DC area.

Education:  Mr. Cluff holds a B.A. in Psychology from Penn State University.

Tom Northrop

Name & Title:  Tom Northrop is the Practice Director for Human Resources with The Mergis Group  

Job Description:  Tom directs human resource recruiting for Mergis offices in Washington D.C Maryland and Virginia.

Other Accomplishments/Memberships:  Tom is a former Officer in the US Army and was a Magistrate for the 25th Judicial District in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Tom has been active in human resources as a director of human resources for DuPont Lycra & Nylon, regional and corporate sales manager for Manpower and Managing Principal for Challenger, Gray & Christmas. As an adjunct professor Tom has taught courses in Cultural Geography and Human Resources at Mary Baldwin College, James Madison University and The University of Virginia.  Tom is past state vice-chairman of the Virginia Employer Advisory Committee and vice president of the Waynesboro/Augusta County Leaders for Tomorrow.

Education:  Tom has matriculated at The University of Michigan, Western Michigan University, The University of Virginia and Washington & Lee University Law School. Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR).

Mosetta Whitaker

Name & Title:  Mosetta G. Whitaker is Director of Workforce Development, Noblis

Job Description:  Ms. Whitaker joined Noblis in 1996 following a career in Human Resources with The MITRE Corporation, Marriott Corporation, COMSAT, and Southern Railway System.  She has also served as Noblis ’s Director of Human Resources from 1997 until 2003 when she became Director of Workforce Development.

Other Accomplishments/Memberships:  Ms. Whitaker is a member of the CARE Advisory Board.  She is the 2003 recipient of the HR Leadership Award for Community Service/Corporate Social Responsibility.  She has also received awards for Corporate Support from the Women of Color and the Black Engineer of the Year Award Conferences. 

Education:  A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Ms. Whitaker holds a M.S. from the American University.

Sharon Berardi

Name & Title:  Sharon Berardi is an Assistant Vice President with Aon Consulting.

Job Description: Ms. Berardi joined Aon Consulting in 2003 and has over 14 years of experience in human resources, employee benefits and insurance consulting services. Prior to joining Aon Consulting, Sharon was a vice president of employee benefits for a local insurance brokerage services firm. 

Other Accomplishments/Memberships:  Ms. Berardi holds resident state licensure in Virginia for Life and Health agent. She also holds her property and casualty license and a Series 6 and 63 securities license. She is also an active member of the Human Resources Association of the National Capital Area, the Northern Virginia Society for Human Resources Management and the Capital Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS).

Education:  A graduate of Salisbury State University, Ms. Berardi holds a
BS in Marketing.

Subject Matter Expertise:  In addition to providing technical advice to clients in all benefit areas, Sharon manages Aon’s resources to meet client schedules, budgets, and strategic goals.

Personal Interests:  She is also an avid runner having completed three marathons and various local races.

Barry Fields

Name & Title: Barry Fields, Manager of Staffing & Recruiting, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems

Cookie Perlmutter

Name & Title: Margaret Perlmutter “Cookie” Vice President of Human Resources, Perot Systems Government Services, Inc.

Job Description: Ms. Perlmutter joined the Government Sector of Perot Systems Corporation through an acquisition in 2003. She has 25 years of progressive Human Resources experience in government contracting and scientific environments.

Sandy Eichelberger

Name & Title: Sandy Eichelberger is a Vice President, Human Resources with ManTech

Job Description: Eichelberger joined ManTech in November 2007 as a Vice President of Human Resources responsible for providing over-all human resources leadership for technology sector of government contracting division. Oversee the development and implementation of effective human resources policies and programs in the area of training, development, compensation, benefits, compliance, employee relations and organizational effectiveness.   Sandy has been working in the government contracting environment for 11 years.

Karen Seymour

Name & Title: Ms. Seymour is Vice President of Challenger, Gray & Christmas’ Washington, DC office

Job Description: Ms. Seymour is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with customers in the Greater Washington Area, including Northern Virginia and the Maryland suburbs.   Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. is a global executive outplacement consultancy with offices throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Asia, and Europe.

Subject Matter Expertise:Ms. Seymour brings more than 20 years of business development and account management experience in human resources consulting.   Her major areas of expertise are in strategic human resources consulting, organizational change management, career development, executive coaching as well as experience with benefits and compensation plans.

Prior to joining Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc., Ms. Seymour served in various management capacities at several of the nation’s leading consulting organizations, including Watson Wyatt Worldwide, Aon Consulting, Palmer & Cay Consulting, and Right Management Consultants.

Jerome Williams

Name & Title: Jerome Williams is the Director of Staffing and Retention at Binary Group in Rosslyn, VA.

Job Description: Mr. Williams has a diverse background in various areas in HR and Organizational Development but primarily works in the areas of recruiting, retention and diversity.

Other Accomplishments/Memberships: Mr. Williams is also an advisor for application development for Careernet’s applicant tracking system (HR Smart); he formerly sat on the advisory board for NC State’s Engineering Department.

Jill Ririe

Name & Title: Jill is co-founder and Principal of The Wynhurst Group, LLC .

Job Description: Jill is a human resources/organizational development consultant with strong functional expertise in the areas of leadership assessment and development, career development, and organizational effectiveness.  Prior to founding The Wynhurst Group in 2003, Jill held executive level positions in human resources and talent management at Watson Wyatt Worldwide, Citibank, and GE.  Additionally, she spent the first 10 years of her career as a human resources generalist working in small and mid-sized government contracting firms in the Northern Virginia area. 


Other Accomplishments/Memberships::   In addition to being a Member at Large on the WTPF Board, Jill serves as Co-Chair of Nominations and Judging Committee of the HR Leadership Awards of Greater Washington and the Program Committee of the HR Leadership Form.  She is also a member of the Church Council at Oakton United Methodist Church
